Chris Witt works with business professionals who want to get better results from their speeches and presentations.
He provides one-on-one coaching for executives and for senior-level technical experts.
- Executives — CEOs, presidents, senior VPs, business owners, and the like — usually want one or both of two things: 1) to look and sound like leaders every time they speak, and 2) to ace a specific high-stakes presentation.
- Senior-level technical experts — engineers, scientists, programmers, researchers, and the like — typically also want one or both of two things: 1) to present their ideas to a wider (i.e. non-technical) audience in a way that people can understand and adopt, and 2) to present themselves more as leaders and less as techies.
Chris also presents key-note addresses and one- and two-day training seminars:
- How to Speak Like a Leader: How to Sell Yourself and Your Ideas
- Facts Don’t Speak for Themselves: The Seven New Rules of Persuasive Technical Presentations
And he is an orals coach, helping teams strategize, create, and rehearse oral proposals for large contracts.
His book, Real Leaders Don’t Do PowerPoint: How to Sell Yourself and Your Ideas, was published in February 2009 by Crown Business. (Foreign rights to the book have already been sold to the UK, Holland, Brazil, China, and Taiwan.)
